CARtography is a web tool that predicts trip fuel consumption from map data based on high-accuracy vehicle models and validated velocity profile generators.  It considers substantially more influence parameters than currently available fuel consumption estimation services, and has been shown to be accurate to within 2% at predicting real world driving fuel consumption.
